Travel operations

Air tickets, visas, tours and transfers — local plus global express — sequenced so a family is never stranded. Umrah and beyond. A journey is a sequence, not a booking, and the desk works it in order.

[ SYS.09A // WHAT THE DESK CARRIES ]

Six ways to hand it over

Decide how much of the journey the desk carries, and everything else is ordered around that answer. Three levels, six arrangements.

[ TIER 01 // THE WHOLE JOURNEY ]
Complete package

TR-01 Visa, flights, hotels and transfers sequenced on one sheet, so nothing moves out of turn.

Flight + visa

TR-02 The two hard dependencies settled together, before anything downstream is booked.

[ TIER 02 // PART OF IT ]
Visa + hotel only

TR-03 Where flights are already held, the ground is arranged around the dates you have.

Flight only

TR-04 Ticketing against the dates the rest of the plan depends on — the desk is not holding the hotels.

[ TIER 03 // ONE PIECE ]
Air ticketing

TR-05 Routing and fare options set out plainly, with the trade-offs named — for a plan you are running yourself.

Transfers & ground

TR-06 Airport transfers, inter-city movement and hotel transfers booked before wheels-up.

[ SYS.09B // CORRIDORS ]

Where the desk runs

Local plus global express. These are the destinations the travel diagnostic routes for today — and beyond them, the desk still quotes.

Saudi Arabia (Umrah) Turkey UAE Malaysia Thailand Singapore United States Azerbaijan United Kingdom Canada Other / beyond
[ SYS.09C // CORPORATE TRAVEL ]

Corporate travel

Business travel runs on different constraints from a holiday — dates that cannot move, several travellers on one itinerary, and documentation that has to be right the first time. The desk carries it as its own line.

Business trips

Single and multi-city business travel, routed around the meeting rather than around the fare.

Group & delegation movement

Teams, delegations and conference groups moved on one sheet, with one point of contact.

Documentation first

Visas, letters and entry requirements checked against each traveller’s nationality before anything is booked.

Repeating routes

Where the same journey recurs, the sequence is set once and reused rather than rebuilt each time.

[ SYS.09D // EVIDENCE ]

Travel engagements

Three published engagements from the travel desk. The problem, what was done, what changed — no client names.

Umrah group season

My role: Group operations desk

Peak-season groups needed transfers that could not fail. Visas, hotels and transfers were sequenced on a single sheet, and one desk ran them. The season ran on that sheet, and nothing moved out of sequence.

Operations

UAE + Umrah corridor

My role: Route design & operations

Families were juggling two visas and two budgets on one trip. One sequenced itinerary and one desk were set up, with visas, hotels and transfers planned together. The trip ran from that one desk — no scrambling.

Turkey circuit

My role: Itinerary design

Leisure travellers were losing days to poor routing. The circuit was re-sequenced and every transfer booked before the flights. Days were recovered on the circuit, and every transfer was settled before wheels-up.

[ SYS.09E // THE BRIEF ]

How a journey is sequenced

Seven questions, in this order. Umrah unlocks a set that leisure and corporate travel never see.

STEP 01Journey type — Umrah and pilgrimage, holiday and leisure, honeymoon, or business and corporate. Each unlocks a different set of questions.
STEP 02Scope of handling — How much of the journey the desk carries, from the complete package down to air ticketing alone.
STEP 03The party — Adults, children and infants, nationality and city of departure — what visas and fares actually depend on.
STEP 04Destination — Where the journey runs, and for Umrah, the split of nights between Makkah and Madinah.
STEP 05When and how long — Departure month, total nights, and whether the dates are fixed.
STEP 06Stay and budget — Room configuration, meal plan and the budget band the trip must sit inside.
STEP 07The brief — Everything above assembles into one brief. It travels only when you send it.

Plan the journey

Tell the desk what the journey is. It sequences from there — visas, flights, hotels and transfers, in order. Nothing is stored on this page, and WhatsApp opens only from the finished brief.
